<p>Hello Frej,</p><p>I took a look at this homepage and found a very important spelling mistake on the "Historia" page.</p><p>I would have sent the information direct to the club, but I could not find any email address.</p><p>So I post the information here, and hope that they see it and can correct the mistake.</p><p>The founder of Judo was not "Jigaro Kano " but "Jig<strong>o</strong>ro Kano".</p><p>Spelling mistakes in Japanese are easy to make, and often can be ignored, but I feel that the founder of Judo should have his name spelt correctly.</p>

Annars så finns Lajos även här på forumet, så han kanske ser tråden, men nu när du redan skickat mail så ändrar han säkert det när han hinner.

<p>Frej, by now you are probably deep into your Christmas - Japan has only the commercial aspects of Christmas - New Year is the big one here!!</p><p>I have noticed that Lajos has been visiting the Forums as you mentioned.</p><p>However I am a little disappointed that he has not reacted in any way to my helpfully intended information about the spelling mistake.</p><p>I sent him and email , and he has not responded in any way. I am not expecting a bag of gold for my information, but a short email acknowledging my information might have been in place as a corteous gesture.</p><p>I think it is quite an error to spell the name of the founder of Judo incorrectly and then not even correct it after being informed in a friendly manner.</p><p>However, it is Christmas in Sweden, so I will leave it at that........ :)</p>

<p>As I was writing the previous post I was having some thoughts about my English. Then a little later I was contacted by a friend who reads the Forums too. He pointed out a very important thing that I had overlooked.</p><p>I write in English (I can speak and understand Swedish fluently - but writing in Swedish was never my strongpoint)</p><p>Lajos is not a native English or a native Swedish speaker. It is not certian that he has a good command of English, so it is very likely that he didn't understand my helping suggestions about the spelling on the homepage.</p><p>If any of you reading this know Lajos personally, please give him a call and explain the situation.</p><p>Also I apologise to Lajos, if I have caused him any problems with my postings.</p><p>(Of course, as it is Christmas over there just now, wait until after the festivities before you contact him)</p>
